I received this \”Butta Be Careful\” email yesterday.  I\’m posting part of the email and part of my response because FEAR (as you\’ll see below) RUNS A LOT OF PEOPLE\’S LIVES…and FEAR RUINS A LOT OF PEOPLE\’S LIVES.

What I hope you get from reading this…is a better understanding of how life works.  Fear cannot consume you.  Fear cannot control you — if you want to BE ANYBODY or DO ANYTHING in this world!!!

{Name removed} has millions of fans and some of them are hardcore fans who will declare an all out Jihad(Holy War) on your a$$.  You have to drop this sh*t before it get out of hand.  I did a video just saying I was dissatisfied with one of his macklessons episodes and one of his Cheerleaders went ballistic.  {Name removed} has Fans and he has Cheerleaders, I\’m a FAN of {Name removed} NOT a cheerleader

{Name removed} Cheerleaders will track your a$$ down and turn you…into a bad memory.-Be Careful.

Bottom Line:

Dear Fan,

You keep running from {Name removed} and his crew.  I\’m right here doing me.  Now, all that time you spent writing me was valuable time you should have spent elevating yourself and your game.

That\’s the problem with cats like you…you give your power away to other people.  Fear runs you away from your opinions and locks you out of success.  So what if people reject what you say…so what if people criticize you.  That\’s what some people do.  That\’s part of the game.  I see more hate online about Jay-Z and Beyoncé than anybody else…yet they remain one of the most influential couples in Hip Hop.  Who gives a f**k if people talk ABOUT YOU.  Haters build empires.  Their vocalized criticisms stimulate conversation and draw other people\’s attention to something they may have ignored.  #peepgame

HERE\’S THE IZM ABOUT FEAR: I recently heard Beyoncé say she feels fear and moves through it.  [CLICK HERE TO SEE THAT VIDEO]  She knows (as I\’ve come to know) that FEAR is nothing more than a signal from your inner self saying \”This is new.  This is something unfamiliar.\”  You are to move through your FEARS…not get stuck in them.

When you do things people haven\’t seen done…or aren\’t used to seeing you do…they sometimes ATTACK you.  \”Who are you to do ___?\”  Many people cave at times like that…and retreat back to the hole they came out of.  They never accomplish all that they can because FEAR of being attacked and FEAR of other people\’s criticisms run them off of their goals.

You must not let FEAR control what you do or how you do it!

Back to Beyoncé.  She just signed a $50,000,000 contract with Pepsi…and I read somewhere people are insisting she drop the deal because she\’s promoting bad eating habits.  I remember years ago, Beyoncé being dragged online when Destiny\’s Child broke up and without notice, changed members.  I watched her take the hits from EVERYBODY and keep pushing through.  Today, she sits on top of an empire.  I still see negative comments about her on virtually every blog I read — hundreds and hundreds of \”Beyoncé is nothing!\” comments.  Now, Beyoncé knows what people are saying about her…BUT SHE CONTINUES TO DO HER THING.  Despite the fear she says she feels, she continues to expand and grow professionally.  #peepgame

I could do what the guy (who emailed me) suggested and run for the hills because SOME PEOPLE don\’t like what I preach and teach, but I\’d rather follow the moves of a True Playa like Beyoncé, and continue making progress financially and professionally.

A lot of you are living your life in fear.  Afraid to step up and ask men for what you want.  Afraid to ask your boss for a raise.  Afraid to start your own business.  You\’re afraid of criticism — what your friends will say, what your mama will say, what your man will say!  That FEAR is holding you back.  It\’s limiting you.

In 2013, let\’s all resolve to feel the FEAR and do it (whatever it is for you) anyway!  Take the criticism on the chin like Butta and Beyonce…and keep on chucking.  One day you will look up and see how far you got…simply by pushing past FEELINGS OF FEAR and not buying into the beliefs of other people.

Make Moves Playas and count the haters as you go.  Like 50 Cent said \”Go head switch your style up, and if they hate then let them hate, but watch the money pile up!\”
